Privacy policy

This policy describes how Rank My Values handles information when you visit rankmyvalues.com and use the values quiz. You do not need an account or email to use it.
Your quiz answers
Your choices, custom values, context, and ranked results are processed in your browser. We do not send them to our servers, include them in page URLs, or send them as analytics events. We do not have an account database or a server-side copy of your quiz.
Saving, exporting, and deleting
A temporary quiz stays in memory and is lost when you reload or close the page. If you choose to save on this device, the app stores one quiz in this browser’s local storage until you delete it or your browser clears it. People with access to that browser profile may be able to access the saved quiz.
You can erase saved data using the app’s deletion controls or your browser’s site-data settings. Exporting creates a file on your device; importing reads a file locally. Downloaded files, clipboard copies, and any device backups are under your control and are not removed by deleting data in the app. We cannot recover or remotely delete those copies.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and improve loading speed and reliability. It receives page and referrer information, browser and device information, country-level location, and performance measurements such as loading times, layout shifts, and responsiveness. Performance diagnostics can include technical element selectors; they are not recordings of your quiz or its text.
Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or fingerprinting to identify visitors. We do not use advertising, session replay, or quiz-answer analytics. Browser privacy tools may block the analytics beacon without preventing the quiz from working. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and its documented metrics.
Hosting and service providers
Cloudflare also hosts and protects this site. Serving a page and receiving analytics requests involves connection information, including your IP address and request details. Keeping answers in your browser does not make your visit anonymous to the hosting provider. Cloudflare may process information in the United States and other countries where it operates. Its privacy policy describes its processing, retention, and safeguards.
Retention and choices
We retain no server-side quiz answers. Cloudflare currently documents seven days of unsampled beacon data, followed by sampled data for longer-term reporting; this is not a promise that all analytics or hosting records are deleted after seven days. See its retention explanation.
We use site statistics to maintain and improve this service, not to sell visitor data or build advertising profiles. You can use a temporary quiz, remove local saved data, and use browser tools to limit analytics. Your applicable privacy rights may include requesting access, correction, deletion, or objecting to processing of information we hold.
Contact and privacy requests
Contact Rank My Values at contact@chancesolutions.io with privacy questions or requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message through our email provider. We use that information to respond and handle your request, retaining correspondence as needed for that purpose and any applicable legal obligations. You do not need to send us your quiz answers.
Policy changes
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. Changes to this policy do not upload existing browser-only answers or turn on local saving for you.
